Freedom in Thought is a collection of animated video essays on the humanities and social sciences. We believe that all positive change begins with education and conversation. So, we aim to make videos that are free, informative, thought-provoking, and worth discussing. As of May 2018, we plan to release only one video a month (so that we can deliver our best work).

If you would like to support our mission of delivering free, high-quality education to the public, here are some ways that you can do that.

By donating a small amount per video, you can help us remain financially stable, produce better (and more frequent) essays, and receive 'goodies' in return. I like to think of Patreon like throwing money in a tip jar after watching a street performance: the show will always be free and you can decide if it's worth paying for.

We love reading and have to do a lot of it while researching each essay topic. We often get asked for book recommendations and so we've created a little book store on Amazon. When you purchase books from our store, Amazon gives us a minor commission - at no extra cost to you. We continually update this list, so be sure to check back.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Freedom in Thought Team
